A little bit about me...
Hello! My name is Alexis Juusola and I am a 1st grade teacher at Oak Hill. I absolutely love what I do and very excited for the upcoming school year. I am a proud Texan and raised in Houston and graduated from Texas State University. Go Bobcats!! I am currently enrolled at University of Concordia for my masters in advanced literacy.
I have a newborn son, Christian, who has the largest cheeks ever. I also have one dog and two cats who are part of my wonderful family.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, dancing, and Zumba. During the summer I work as a choreographer for drum corps and high school colorguards creating marching band shows. I love to incorporate music and movement to enrich my classroom.
I am confident this will be a great year and look forward to working with you and your child.
